GAL Flora fiber – 180 g

So-called galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) are a group of water-soluble fibers. There are 2 main types. Alpha-GOS are found in some plant foods and are not particularly selective, unlike beta-GOS. A mixture of beta-GOS of different structures in a specific ratio is formed in breast milk.

Many beta-GOS raw materials are made with an enzyme produced by a mold, or with the help of a bacterium not found in breast milk. This is not a problem, but as a result a GOS mixture with a structural ratio different from that in breast milk is formed. In our product we therefore use Bimuno®, which is produced exactly as it is formed from lactose in breast milk, by the enzymes of Bifidobacterium bifidum in the mammary glands. This yields a GOS mixture with the same structural ratio as breast milk. We mixed it with barely fermentable, hypoallergenic bamboo fiber only for easier handling and dosing.

Recommended use: Mixed into liquid, we recommend consuming 3 grams (~10 ml) daily, which can be increased to 6 grams. It is most beneficial to take in the morning on an empty stomach, but it can also be divided throughout the day. If you have not consumed the product before, start with 1 gram, then increase the dose by half a gram every two days, reaching 3 grams a day.

When measuring with the GAL dosing spoon, the powder should always reach the rim at the end of the spoon head, and the level of the powder spread horizontally should reach the point shown on the handle in the figure. After the scooping motion, you can reduce any excess to the desired level by gentle tapping. After a try or two it becomes an easy routine.

Shelf life: Cut open the pouch in the box with scissors along the notch visible on its edges, then close it carefully afterwards, so its contents remain edible for a quarter of a year.

For the attention of those sensitive to milk and lactose: The daily dose of the product contains about as much lactose as a teaspoon of milk, while it contains less milk protein than a drop of milk.

Do not exceed the recommended intake! The product does not replace a balanced, varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Store out of reach of children.
