Lactic acid has two forms: D- and L-lactic acid. These are converted into D- and L-lactate respectively in the body. The blood of healthy people contains almost only L-lactate, which is an important nutrient for the heart and the brain, among other things.

In our product, the magnesium is present exclusively bound to the L-form of lactic acid, which not only allows better absorption of the magnesium, but also supplies useful L-lactate, without D-lactate. In addition, it is less likely to cause loose stools than many other forms of magnesium.

It is important to note that magnesium lactate does not contain any dairy derivatives (lactose, casein); it only resembles lactose in its name. Magnesium lactate is the salt that magnesium forms with lactic acid. Our muscles also produce lactic acid after strenuous physical work, and it is a preferred fuel for the brain and the heart. The product can be safely consumed by those who do not consume dairy products as well.

Recommended use: Take 2.45 g per day (approx. 1 tsp), preferably in two portions (especially if taking it all at once would cause looser stools than usual). It can be mixed into any liquid and is best taken with a meal.

When measuring with the GAL dosing spoon, the powder should always reach the rim at the end of the spoon head, and the level of the powder spread out horizontally should reach the point on the handle shown in the illustration. After the scooping motion, you can reduce any excess to the desired level by tapping gently. After a try or two it becomes an easy routine.

Shelf life: Cut open the pouch inside the box with scissors along the notch visible on its edges, and later reseal it carefully; this way its contents remain consumable for a quarter of a year.

Do not exceed the recommended intake! The product is not a substitute for a balanced, varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Store out of the reach of children.
