Stevia sweetener extracted from the leaves of Stevia rebaudiana (sweetleaf), approx. 300 times sweeter than sugar.
The plant's sweet taste comes from a so-called diterpene glycoside molecule, steviol glycoside, a metabolite of stevioside.
This molecule is 250–300 times sweeter than sugar and can be used for cooking and baking, as it keeps its sweetness when heated. What's more, digestive enzymes can't break it down, so it is practically not absorbed by your body – its calorie value is zero.
It can also be used well in foods with different pH values, soft drinks or fermented dairy products – it fits into anything 'homemade', be it cakes, pudding, syrup, jam, preserves or yogurt.

Dosage:

For sweetening cold and hot drinks and foods, for baking and cooking (up to 198 °C), and externally for cosmetic purposes. Use it instead of sugar in tea, coffee, food and drinks to taste: 4 drops correspond to 1 sugar cube (2.5 g).

Warning:

Due to the sweetener content of the product, adults (70 kg) may consume a maximum of 60 drops per day, and children proportionally less according to their body weight. Not recommended for children under 1 year.

Store protected from light and heat, in a cool, dry place.
