Matcha is not just green tea but a method: instead of steeping the leaves and throwing them away, you drink the whole ground leaf. The bushes are shaded for a few weeks before harvest, which makes the plant produce more chlorophyll – this gives matcha its vibrant green color and distinctive umami taste. Vegan, lactose-, gluten- and soy-free.

Recommended daily dose: Whisk about half a teaspoon of powder with 1 cup of water at approx. 80 °C until a thin foam forms. Can also be mixed into smoothies or juice.
