Redecker merino wool dryer balls – 5 pcs

In the tumble dryer, clothes clump together after a while – towels and bed linen especially like to roll up into one big heap – and so the warm air does not circulate through them. Merino wool dryer balls separate the textiles and keep them moving continuously, absorbing a little moisture and then releasing it to the warm air. With this, up to 20–30% shorter drying time can be achieved.

In addition, they soften naturally without chemicals, so in many cases they replace fabric softener. The clothes crease less and build up less static.

Why is it a good choice?

• Up to 20–30% shorter drying time – less energy
• Instead of fabric softener: softens naturally, without chemicals
• Less creasing and static build-up
• Prevents towels and bed linen from clumping
• 100% merino wool, reusable
• Pack of 5; can be used for 2–3 years, over several hundred drying cycles

Usage:

• Put the dryer balls among the wet clothes in the tumble dryer drum.
• 2–3 balls are enough for a smaller load; for an average or large load, using all 5 is recommended – this is how the laundry separates evenly, and this gives the fastest result.
• You can leave the balls in the machine after drying.

When to replace them?

When the balls collapse, lose their shape, start to fray and pill, no longer move actively, and the drying time is noticeably no longer shortened. When they are more of a flat tuft than a ball, it is time to buy new ones.
