Redecker wooden dish brush with replaceable head – plant bristles, 5 cm

A washing-up brush where you do not have to throw away the whole tool when the bristles wear out: the head is replaceable. At the head end of the handle, a metal band holds the socket – pulling it back loosens the socket, the head can be taken out and replaced, and by pulling the band back again the replacement is done. The replaced head is compostable.

The head and the handle are made of unvarnished beech wood, the bristles of 100% plant-based fibrisse (Tampico) fibre. The fibrisse is strong enough for stubborn dirt, yet does not scratch or dull, so it is also suitable for cleaning glasses, porcelain, glass and sensitive surfaces. The diameter of the head is 5 cm.

Why is it a good choice?

• Replaceable head – you do not have to throw away the whole tool
• Completely plastic-free: unvarnished beech wood and plant fibrisse bristles
• Does not scratch or dull – also good for glasses and porcelain
• The replaced head is compostable
• Unpackaged, vegan product
• Redecker handcrafted quality, since 1935

Use and care:

• After use, leave it to dry in a well-ventilated place.
• Between uses, do not let it stand in water – this is good for neither the wood nor the bristles.
• Do not dry it on a radiator or in any other very hot place: the wood may crack from drying too intensely.
