Redecker wooden toilet brush – plant bristles, 37 cm

A completely plastic-free toilet brush: the handle is linseed oil-treated beech wood, the bristles are plant-based fibrisse (Tampico) fibre, and the brush head is secured by a metal element. The dense ring of bristles cleans the bowl thoroughly and also reaches the area under the rim, without scratching the surface. The fibrisse fibre holds its shape well, so the brush does not flatten even after long use.

Its length is 37 cm, so it can be used comfortably without bending down. At the end of its life, the wood and the plant bristles biodegrade and are compostable, while the metal fixing can be collected separately for recycling.

Why is it a good choice?

• Completely plastic-free: beech wood handle, plant fibrisse bristles, metal fixing
• Shape-retaining, durable bristles – do not flatten
• Cleans thoroughly, reaches the area under the rim
• The wood and the bristles are compostable, the metal can be recycled separately
• Unpackaged product
• Redecker handcrafted quality, since 1935

Use and care:

• Rinse it after every use, shake off the water, and leave it to dry in a well-ventilated place.
• Between uses, store it in a dry place – it should not stand in water, because the wooden handle soaks it up.
• An occasional vinegar or baking soda rinse keeps the brush fresh.
• The life of the wooden handle can be extended with linseed oil care.
