The vitamins supporting normal hair and nails are included in active form

In WTN Hair and nail vitamin, several nutrients are present in the biologically active form that also occurs in the body, for example:

• vitamin B9 in methylfolate form (instead of synthetic folic acid)
• vitamin B12 as hydroxocobalamin (instead of synthetic cyanocobalamin)

B vitamins contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism, and vitamin B7 (biotin) to the maintenance of normal hair and skin.
Vitamin C is present in the product in fat-soluble form (as ascorbyl palmitate). Vitamin C contributes to collagen formation, which is important for maintaining normal skin, hair and nails, and as an antioxidant it protects cells from oxidative stress.
Vitamin E comes from mixed tocopherols, which also help protect cells from oxidative stress.
Vitamin D has a role in cell division and supports normal immune function.

Trace elements in organic form

In organic trace elements, the ion is bound to an organic molecule important for the body (such as the amino acid glycine). This is similar to how nutrients occur in foods.

Zinc (zinc glycinate): contributes to the maintenance of normal hair, nails and skin.
Copper (copper bisglycinate): contributes to normal hair and skin pigmentation and supports the condition of connective tissues.
Selenium (selenomethionine): contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and nails, and as an antioxidant protects cells.
Silicon (from field horsetail extract): a plant source traditionally used in hair and nail care.

Plant actives used in WTN Hair and nail vitamin:

The polyphenols in grape seed and the basil root concentrate can help protect cells from oxidative stress thanks to their antioxidant properties.
Black pepper extract helps the absorption of nutrients and plant actives.
The product is also supplemented with golden millet concentrate and garden pea sprout concentrate. Together with the field horsetail already mentioned, which is a natural source of silicon, it contributes to the maintenance of normal connective tissue and skin.

Directions for use:

• Recommended amount: 1 natural capsule in the morning and 1 green capsule at noon a day. Preferably before meals, or with a meal in case of a sensitive digestive system.
