HerbaTherapy Grapefruit essential oil (Citrus paradisii) – 10 ml

Its fresh, tangy scent brings back faith in everyday life, refreshes and puts a smile on your face. An effective energizing and mood-lifting essential oil. Scent: fresh, slightly tangy, citrusy (top note).

Properties: antioxidant, calming, draining, pore-tightening, fat-dissolving, skin-loosening, stimulates blood circulation, stimulates lymph circulation, vitalizing.

Therapeutic suggestions: against morning fatigue (10–20 drops in an ultrasonic diffuser); antidepressant, anxiety-relieving (as a sniffing bottle with 7 deep breaths, or in a car diffuser); cellulite treatment (in a massage oil with lemon, ginger and cinnamon in jojoba carrier oil, with max. 3–4% essential oil content – avoid sunbathing/solarium for 24 hours after treatment); for mood swings (1 drop jojoba oil + 1 drop grapefruit oil behind the ear); in a face tonic as a sebum regulator (max. 10 drops per 100 ml).

Professional tip: due to its tension-relieving effect, it is recommended for diffusing in medical/dental waiting rooms – approx. 8 drops for 12 m², approx. 15–20 drops in the diffuser for 30–40 m².

Safety instructions: due to its furocoumarin content it is photosensitizing when applied to the skin – the treated skin must not be exposed to sunlight or UV radiation for 8 hours, and using a solarium is not recommended either! Keep out of the reach of children! Store protected from light and heat! Do a skin test before use: apply one drop of the essential oil to the crook of your elbow or the inside of your wrist; if no allergic reaction appears within 24 hours, it can be used safely.
