CibiBee beeswax food wraps – S, M, L set (3 pcs)

A set of three beeswax wraps in three different sizes to replace aluminium foil and cling film. Each piece is made of GOTS-certified organic cotton fabric, made pliable by a mixture of beeswax, pine resin and jojoba oil.

Beeswax is a natural material that is water-repellent and has an antibacterial effect, jojoba oil disinfects, and pine resin provides the adhesive property: the cloth can be moulded with the warmth of your hands and it holds its shape. This way sandwiches, cheese, sausage, baked goods, vegetables and fruit can be wrapped in it, and bowls placed in the fridge can be covered.

Contents of the set: 1 wrap of 19 x 19 cm, 1 of 24 x 24 cm and 1 of 33 x 33 cm, usually each with a different pattern. The patterns may change over time; the product photo is only an illustration.

Why is it a good choice?

• 100% natural materials: GOTS organic cotton, beeswax, pine resin, jojoba oil
• Three sizes in one set – for sandwiches, cheese, covering bowls
• Reusable, with proper care for about a year
• Compostable at the end of its life
• GOTS certification: textile from controlled organic farming
• Product made in Hungary

Usage:

Mould the cloth onto the food or the edge of the bowl with the warmth of your hands, and hold it there for a few seconds – the wax sticks and keeps the shape.

Cleaning:

• After use, wipe it with a damp cloth, or wash it under the tap with water no warmer than room temperature.
• Never put it in the washing machine, because the heat dissolves its ingredients out of it.

What to watch out for?

• Do not wash it out, do not put it under hot water, do not iron it, and do not expose it to high temperatures.
• Not suitable for storing liquids, raw meat, fish and hot food.
• Avoid contact with alcohol.
• Do not leave it in the car in warm weather, because the wax will melt out of it.
