Redecker red cedarwood disc against moths – 10 pcs

The essential oil content of American red cedar (Juniperus virginiana) repels moths, so moth damage in the wardrobe and the pantry can be prevented without chemicals. Place the discs in a drawer, shoebox, wardrobe, pantry shelf or kitchen cabinet – the pack of ten is enough for several places at once.

It is important to know that red cedar acts as a preventive repellent: it does not destroy existing eggs and larvae. If an infestation is suspected, first clean out the wardrobe or pantry, freeze the dry goods, and only then put in the discs. Using airtight containers further increases effectiveness.

The discs have a long life and do not crumble. If the scent fades over time, it is enough to sand the surface gently – this releases the essential oils again.

Why is it a good choice?

• Natural moth repellent without chemicals
• Can be used against both clothes moths and food moths (pantry moths)
• The scent can be refreshed by sanding, so it can be used for a long time
• Pack of 10: enough for several wardrobes and drawers
• Also suitable for storing wool, silk and other sensitive materials
• American red cedar is not an endangered species; it is grown according to government regulations

Usage:

• Among clothes: hang it on a hanger, or put it in a drawer, shoebox or wardrobe.
• For dry goods: place a disc in the storage compartment for flour, rice, grain or spices.
• From time to time, sand its surface gently to refresh the scent.
• If an infestation is suspected, combine it with other natural methods: thorough cleaning, freezing, a well-sealed storage container.
