When everything comes at once

Stress in itself is not the enemy. It's a natural, even necessary reaction: it prepares the body for a demanding situation, as long as it's short-lived. The problem starts when it doesn't go away. When you've been waking up tense for weeks, find it harder to relax, and the smallest thing throws you off balance.

At times like these, "pull yourself together" isn't enough. UKKO Stress Relief Tea won't solve anything for you, but it can be there with you in a mug when you need a little pause.

Six herbs work together in the blend. Four of them – hawthorn, linden flower, hops and lemon balm – have been used in European tradition for centuries during times of tension, restlessness and nervous complaints. Alongside them, hibiscus and rosehip provide a pleasant, tart flavor and antioxidants.

Why do people choose UKKO Stress Relief Tea Blend?

  • a 100% natural, premium-quality Hungarian product
  • six carefully selected herbs in a single blend
  • a pleasant, tart flavor – drinkable even without sweetening
  • can be enjoyed hot or cold, and taken with you in a thermos
  • free from flavorings, additives and sugar

When should I drink it?

2 mugs a day are recommended, one in the morning and one after lunch.

How soon does it work?

Herbal teas need to be consumed regularly to have an effect; many people feel their days are calmer after a few days. Results may vary from person to person.

Does it make you sleepy?

According to our customers' experience, the tea can be enjoyed during the day as well, but sensitivity varies, so it's worth observing how it affects you the first few times.

Can it be taken with medication?

If you are on long-term medication, consult your doctor before use, especially if you take sedatives, heart or blood pressure medication.

Can children drink it?

We do not recommend it for those under 18.

Can pregnant women drink it?

Not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

IMPORTANT – when should you NOT start with this? If the tension has lasted for weeks, if you have sleep problems, if you experience panic-like episodes, persistent sadness or hopelessness, or if you feel you're trying to calm down with alcohol or medication, please see a doctor or psychologist. These may be symptoms of more than "just stress", and there is real, effective help for them. The tea isn't forbidden in these cases either, but it does not replace professional help.

UKKO Stress Relief Tea Blend is a food product; its use does not replace necessary medical treatment! Not recommended in case of hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the blend. Results may vary from person to person. The effects of the tea are based on scientific literature on the herbal ingredients and folk medicine experience – but it is always important to make the best decision for your health!

Effects and benefits:

The Stress Relief Tea Blend has traditionally been enjoyed as a companion during tense periods.

  • Traditionally calming plants: the European Medicines Agency's summary on traditional use associates lemon balm and hop cones with relieving mild symptoms of stress
  • For nervous complaints: hawthorn has traditionally been used for mild, stress-related palpitations, after a doctor has ruled out a more serious cause
  • The habit of pausing: two tea breaks a day can help in themselves – a warm drink and a few minutes' pause reshape the rhythm of the day
  • Antioxidant compounds: rosehip and hibiscus contain flavonoids and anthocyanins
  • Pleasant, tart flavor: drinkable even without sweetening, with no added flavorings

Tips for tense days

  • take short, regular breaks – even a few minutes count
  • move every day, even if it's just a short walk
  • pay attention to sleep – lack of sleep amplifies stress
  • avoid coffee in the late afternoon
  • talk about it with someone you trust

The tea can be a pleasant, natural companion in this: a warm mug and a few minutes' pause can help break the rhythm of the day. Building a daily routine matters at least as much as the drink itself.

About the ingredients:

  • Hibiscus: contains anthocyanins, which give the tea its deep red color and refreshing tartness
  • Rosehip: rich in antioxidant compounds; the tart base flavor of the blend
  • Hawthorn flowering tops: a plant traditionally used for mild, nervous heart complaints and palpitations
  • Linden flower: a traditionally calming tea that aids rest; honeyed scent
  • Hop cones: a plant traditionally used to relieve mild symptoms of mental stress; a distinctive, slightly bitter note
  • Lemon balm: a lemon-scented plant traditionally used for mild stress symptoms and digestive discomfort

UKKO Stress Relief Tea Blend is a 100% natural, premium-quality Hungarian product, made with expert care from carefully selected, high-quality plants.

Suggested use:

Preparing the tea

  • Bring water to a boil, then let it cool for a few minutes – the ideal water temperature for tea is about 80 °C.
  • Put a heaped teaspoon of the tea blend in a tea strainer and slowly pour the water over it (0.4–0.5 liters).
  • Cover and wait 10–15 minutes before drinking.

The lid is important so that the heat and natural aromas don't escape too early. The tea can be enjoyed hot or cold – it's a matter of taste and time.

Recommended consumption

2 mugs a day (0.4–0.5 l per mug) – one in the morning and one after lunch. Continue the course for no more than 4–6 weeks, then take a break of at least 1–2 weeks. | If you can't make tea at work, take it with you in a thermos or tea bottle – it's excellent cold too, and particularly refreshing in summer. | Storage: protected from light, tightly closed, in a cool, dry place.

NOT RECOMMENDED: during pregnancy and breastfeeding (hibiscus and hawthorn are both contraindicated at this time, and hops contain plant compounds with estrogen-like effects) | under the age of 18 | in hormone-sensitive conditions, due to hops – in this case, ask your doctor.

EXTRA CAUTION: effects may add up with sedatives, sleeping pills or anti-anxiety medication, as well as with alcohol. If you take heart medication (especially digoxin), blood pressure medication or anticoagulants, consult your doctor because of the hawthorn and hibiscus. Care is advised in case of known heart disease (due to linden flower) and thyroid disease (due to lemon balm). The acidity of rosehip and hibiscus may cause discomfort in case of reflux – in this case, don't drink it on an empty stomach. Drink enough plain water alongside these mildly diuretic plants.
