The scent of orange peel, cinnamon and cloves reminds us of mulled wine and gingerbread, and together with the tea's glowing color it lights up the lights of Christmas devotion in our hearts. Dried apple and hibiscus help evoke the magic of falling snowflakes and a fire crackling in the fireplace, at any time of the year.

Why does this blend work?

Scent is our oldest memory. Cinnamon and cloves are the two spices that evoke the same thing in almost everyone: kitchen aromas, holiday preparations, childhood Decembers. Orange peel adds the citrusy ring of mulled wine, dried apple the natural sweetness, and hibiscus the deep, glowing ruby red color that makes the mug look warming at first glance.

One box contains 120 g of tea blend, enough to prepare approx. 40 servings of tea. 100% natural, without added flavorings, additives or sugar.

With true cinnamon

The blend contains true cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum), not the cheaper cassia cinnamon common in shops. It has a finer, sweeter, less pungent taste and contains significantly less coumarin, so it is also suitable for regular consumption. This is the small difference that is rarely written on the packaging – but for us it's a basic principle.

Not just in winter

Warm, it's a companion for cold evenings, but chilled with ice cubes and a slice of orange it works surprisingly well in summer too – the spicy, fruity taste remains even when cold. It also makes a particularly welcome gift: its scent works its magic as soon as the package is opened.

Our tea blend is 100% natural, contains no impurities, and has no added flavorings, additives or sugar. In our recipe we have combined carefully selected, quality plants from verified, clean sources.

Directions for use:

Preparing the tea

• Boil water for tea, then let it cool for a few minutes to approx. 80 °C.
• Steep 1 teaspoon of the tea blend in 0.4–0.5 liters of water for 10–15 minutes, then strain.
• The tea prepared this way can be drunk immediately – there's no need to add sweetener, the tea tastes very good without it.

Recommended consumption

Iced tea: prepare as above, let it cool, then put it in the fridge. Serve with ice cubes and a slice of orange. | Alcohol-free 'mulled wine': warm it up and serve with orange, a star anise or a spoonful of honey – great for guests too. | Storage: protected from light, tightly closed, in a cool, dry place, so that the essential oils of the spices are preserved.

Part of a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. In case of known sensitivity, checking the ingredients is recommended. During pregnancy or breastfeeding, or when taking medication, it's worth consulting a doctor before regular consumption.

IMPORTANT – who is it not recommended for? We do not recommend regular consumption during pregnancy: hibiscus is traditionally regarded as a plant that induces menstruation, and cinnamon and cloves should also be avoided in larger amounts at this time. During breastfeeding, ask your health visitor or doctor. If you take anticoagulants, consult your doctor because of the eugenol content of cloves. Hibiscus may enhance the effect of blood pressure medication, so consulting a doctor is recommended in this case too.
